YOUR ACTION IS NEEDED TO SUPPORT HUMAN RIGHTS FOR ALL

Dear Religious Friends and Colleagues,

We are writing to request your support and signature for an important statement of faith-based leaders and organizations to be delivered to the Commission on Human Rights. The statement (text included below) supports a resolution proposed by Brazil at last year’s Commission on Human Rights, affirming that human rights are enjoyed by all, and cannot be denied on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.

It is important that religious voices from around the world that support this resolution are heard. For that reason we are collecting signatures of individuals and organizations from different faith traditions and religious communities who support this resolution.

To sign-on to the statement, please send the following information to ssippel@catholicsforchoice.org.  Please indicate if you are signing on as an individual, an organization, or both.
